Hello friends,
Our names are Steve and Nicole Crocker. We are from the north eastern suburbs of Adelaide. We are both 26 years of age and have similar upbringings. We got married in December of 2006 and currently have a child on the way. We are both trained school teachers and attend Hope Valley Uniting Church. We were very comfortable with our lives until….
In July 2010, we went to Bali on a Church mission trip. While we were there, we developed a real love for the people and knew that God was calling us back there again sometime. We spent many months praying about God’s direction for this and felt that God was calling us to live in Bali and work as missionaries here. We are loving living here in Bali!
Although we are now totally out of our comfort zone, God is proving Himself faithful to us as we are living out this exciting endeavor. He has shown us time and time again that His will is more important than anything we can think or imagine and has been guiding us in this way.
In Bali we are currently working for an orphanage and doing street work. We also have the privilege of visiting the prison once a week and spending time with the inmates there.
With Bali being Bali things are constantly changing, but that is all part of the fun and adventure! We know and are so thankful that God has everything under His control.
We are enjoying living out this opportunity that God has given to us. God’s faithfulness is incredible and our faith is growing as we seek His face daily and are witnessing God’s hand at work.
